CHANGES TO WEBSITE STRUCTURE
To keep you all up to date, some changes have been made that apply to Subscribers of this site. These changes may also influence the decision of existing Supporters when considering whether to keep their subscriptions active. For clarity, this site has two member roles: Subscribers and Supporters. Subscribers are standard users, while Supporters are those who have upgraded their account to Premium status.
Historically, Subscribers were limited to downloading five mixes per day, with no option to listen to mixes directly on the website.
Music players were available exclusively to Supporters. This has now changed.
Subscribers are now limited to downloading only the latest 20 mixes from each radio show.
However, Subscribers can now also listen to those latest 20 mixes from each radio show
directly on the website using the music player found on each post.
It’s important to note that Subscribers will always be limited to downloading and listening to the latest 20 mixes from each radio show. As new mixes are released each week, the oldest mix within that set of 20 will be archived.Once archived, Subscribers will no longer be able to download or listen to that mix.
Archived mixes are never deleted from the website. They remain available exclusively to Supporters.
These changes have been made due to historical abuse of the site’s Terms & Conditions, where some users attempted to create multiple accounts to download as much content as possible in a short period of time. This undermines those members who have chosen to spend their hard-earned money to support the site, and it is also disheartening on a personal level, given that I’ve spent nearly 15 years building, maintaining, and funding this platform. For most people, these changes should be welcome. Subscribers will continue to have access to the latest 20 mixes from each radio show, now with the added benefit of streaming them directly from the site. For Supporters, your continued support now provides a more enhanced experience, including exclusive access to the archived content.
My thanks to you all for your continued support.
